Ok. I've had this bike 8 days now and love it!!! have 600 miles on it now. Should have gotten a Shark from day one! Gave Crazy Bit*h her first bath and snapped a few photos.
Some mod's are Yaffee rear plate, exhaust tune cam ect..(see post in twin cam for results), Polished 7 point stainless engine bolt kit, Bad as Hell front axle, Highway pegs, chrome saddle bag latches, Progressive 940 rear shocks, Ricor Front Fork intiminators which are amazing, saddle bag guards, chrome front rotor bolts, 4 point detachable set up with the chrome magnetic caps...i think that's about it.
I have purchased the same mirrors as Puzzled but didn't put them on yet, the factory ones are growing on me. Chopped tour pack is ordered. I think I'm set for now :apple:

If you do them with in 60 days of delivery they are covered for 2 years under warranty instead of only 1 year
I am sure they will break by next year as this is a common problem from what I understand.

-
Jr, What kind of power did you get after your engine mods?
-
Here is my Dyno sheet. Runs like a bear!! I am changing exhaust to D X pipe and 2.25 cores on April 4th for a comparison. My fat cats are too loud for even me!
-
NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
That is serious power! very Nice! I will be traveling to cigarfest in April in Pocono's maybe I will see you around, and check it out. Will be at split rock.
-
Ok so changed to Fullsac dx pipe and 2.25 cores. Sounds great. Much quiter than the fat cats. New Dyno tune on April 4th. We will see if the dx will match the d and d. Doesn't really matter they were too loud. Just ordered a fender for my 23" wheel too!
Never done!!!
-
That is a file photo in my last post. Dropped off the stock fender this morning to a new painter. Much closer than LA!! Only 2 hrs drive. He seems to be able to duplicate CVO colors and metallic. We will see. :coolblue:

Finished!!!

Air cleaner actually matches now!!
-
Now all we need is for the new fender to be done at the painter!!
More updates coming soon!!

With the Fat Katz fender, I think that is going to look great!
Let us know how it rides with the Pickard trees and 23" wheels...no I don't want to do the same thing...I think?! ;D

Let us know how it rides with the Pickard trees and 23" wheels...no I don't want to do the same thing...I think?! ;D
The ride and handling is very good with the Pickard trees and 23". While stopped Rich commented at how the bike was getting through the corners much better with the 23" over the 19". Visually the 23" looks to be every bit as wide as the 19" and has a very similar profile. For me the turn in is much quicker thus giving the bike a lighter feel to it in the corners.
The Pickard trees without a doubt are worth every penny. We blasted up the highway in the triple digits and the bikes were rock solid. I chopped the throttle several times and the bars did not move (glad they didn't).
The decision to go with Pickard came from a few months of researching the various trees available. I had two manufactures tell me not to run their trees due to my riding style. I spoke with several people one on one who had brand X before switching to Pickard. With Pickard the stock rake and trail were maintained thus not screwing up the OEM geometry. From what I can see we gave up a small amount of suspension travel with the lowering kit. Pickard supplies travel limiters so the wheel doesn't smash into the lower tree. With the Burly lowering springs they are a progressive rate spring. The first inch or so of travel is pretty soft than the spring gets real aggressive from there. I purposely was trying to hit the limiters and I was able to although not easily.
We are both waiting on fenders and to be honest I like the look without it!
-
Looks better than I though it would look. Approx how much will cost me to do my bike. I was going to do some work on the engine work but after seeing this i think I need a 23" front end.

You'll be a little over 4K in parts. The wheel combination is the biggest part.

Skip the motor work!! Wish I did this mod first. No more feeling like a slug turning the bike!!
The heavy feeling of the bike is gone. Gonna go rip thru some corners here in a little while!!

You my friend have one sick bike! I loved seeing the transformation all within such a short time frame! I have the same bike #828. I will get some pics but I have 21 front Renegade Kingman and 17 rear with 200 tire. Also added CRF exhaust fluted inside and out and Fullsac headers. Hope to do some more soon! Extended bags are next and a aftermarket seat if I can find one that fits without removing fender strip guards for passenger pillon. :huepfenjump3:
