ITANK,I have a 95 Heritage with an S&S 107. It has twin billett oil coolers, one on each down tube, and no thermostat. If the air temp is over 90 degrees I will always be between 190 and 200 maybe 205 depending if I am on the freeway or on surface streets. I have a HD analong temp gauge in my oil tank. I do remember a trip I made from Simi Valley, CA. to Fresno, Ca. last summer when it was about 104 outside and I did get up to 230 degrees when I got off the freeway, but it didn't seem to hurt anything. I really wish I would have put a jagg oil cooler on, the billet ones look good running down each side of the frame, but I really think they don't drop the temp much compared to a Jagg setup. If you are only topping out at 190 degrees I wouldn't worry about a thing. CAHDBIKER
