An off-road CVO bike is an interesting way to finally see a CVO bike at under $30k again.  Still, pushing $30k is large change for that kind of bike.

I just went and equipped a 2024 BMW GS on their configurator (which is not a great tool BTW) and it came to $27,945 WITHOUT boxes.  So the price for the CVO is in line with a well kitted competitor.  If it were a little more like the GSA (bigger tank which give better weather protection), I'd be sharpening my pencil next year when it's time to refresh my Rally bike (2018 GSA).

I really like it a lot. 

Price is not crazy, a little high.  The boxes and mounting hardware are right around 2500, then the lights are 700.  So you are at 25,599 and still do not have the skid plates, the SE muffler which is 1K, you don't have the knee pads or quick shifter.

I think I am close to 26K in my 21 Pan America.  This is before the price increases since then.  I added light, top and side case, the better foot pegs, handle bar risers, muffler guard and muffler.

It's a good looking bike for sure.  Best thing about the adventure segment (for me who buys used) is how quickly they depreciate.  I'll find one in 5 years that has no miles for $10K.

That's a lot of money, fancy bits & weight to go down graded dirt roads and mud puddles that any other vehicle can do!  Hey don't get me wrong its kind of cool but I've ridden my CVO on worse roads around Valley of the Gods then those roads pictured.  Don't need another expensive bike to do that, also that bike is not suited of roads / trails not pictured.  Market?

Both sets of remarks only highlight how unaware I am of that market.  Didn't realize their price points were stretching that far.
