Where are you located here in Az? We have a lot of Canadian snow birders here in the winter months.
Welcome to the board.....you will learn a lot about your bike here. In 2005 the MoCo didn't make a CVO Ultra Classic. The Ultra Classic CVO started in 2006. It's likely a 2005 Electra Glide CVO.
Possibly, if it sit for a long period of time, the gas turned to varnish and will need to be replaced and cleaned up.

Welcome to a wonderful and informative site from a fellow member from Ontario who also loves Arizona - especially Lake Havasu. :2vrolijk_21:
I had a 2005 CVO Electra Glide for 10 years before selling it to a friend... Just wasn't riding it enough once a purchased my '08 CVO EG Ultra. The '05 was and still is a great bike (as my friend who bought it will tell you), and once you get your problem solved I'm sure you will enjoy many happy years riding it.
Enjoy your winter and ride safe,
Grizzly
