Yes, I am running stock head pipes.

Not good on the quiet part.  I will check out Fulsac as an option, I have their link.

See if you can find a set of Screamin Eagle 65115-98B mufflers from Chicago H-D or some other I-NET sales dealership. In my opinion, you'll love the sound and they perform well. The mufflers that come stock on CVO bikes are not really performance mufflers. And welcome to the site. You don't have to own a CVO to be here.

Thanks Spiderman,

Someone from another site is telling me that the cats are removeable.  I figured I would have heard that from you guys if it was a possiblity.

Any truth to this?

dartman:
Ive seen a number of CVO pipes with the Cats removed, they are about 3 1/2 in thick and very restrictive, removal supposedly  frees up the exhaust, I saw them at a swap meet, in Grand Rapids mi, If I remember correctly the charge was about $50.00, So yes they are removable, wish I had paid more attention but the inlet was clear straight into the baffle.

woody:
I didn't know cats were in any 06 pipes. Are they Ca approved.
