disconnecting power
« on: March 10, 2007, 10:06:32 PM »

Ok,  just installed my new thundermax with autotune on my SE2.  Have a question about the sticker I'm placing by the battery....

So if I need to remove the + from my battery, I should first remove the ECM fuse from the right hand block and then disconnect the battery....

After reconnnecting my battery, I should do the 30sec on/ 30sec off procedure without touching the throttle......

If i follow these instructions will all the data corrections I have via the autotune be lost or retained?

Thanks,

Mark

Retained.  They are stored within the module, connected to power or not.  The only thing you need to do after interrupting module power is re-initialize the system to re-establish IAC and TPS "home" positions.  JK
