Nice! Thanks for the link...I have been thinking that the Harley headlight might be a little too big for my liking. Headwinds appear to have a really nice product.
Thanks again,
Kevin

Nice!

Personally , I think the headlight cover on the FXDWG2/3 is one of the key styling elements . I am looking at changing the bulb to an HID with a brighter low beam though.
-
Wish I'd taken some pics this weekend - had the fairing off to put a new bulb in. Stock headlamp housing is a bit too small for the bike, IMO.
-
Here's a picture of mine with the Harley headlight housing.

LT, what seat is that?
-
A Corbin Gunfighter done in grey leather with a light grey side/top panel. The funny thing about the seat is that it's a screw up on Corbin's part. I actually wanted faux ostrich for the side/top panel (to somewhat mimic the stock seat) and this is what they sent. I was going to return it but instead decided to see what it looked like on the bike. I got a lot of positive comments so I decided to keep it (I actually like the looks of it, too). It sure made a difference in comfort for me. The stock seat killed my lower back after a 50 miles or so.

Thanks! That was exactly what I was looking for. Awesome looking WG3. How about some closeups of the seat? ::) And tell us about that motor! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

KLars1... the bike looks ok with the standard headlight. I wish I'd taken a pic of mine w/o the fairing. The stock headlight housing is chromed, and I think it's the standard WG headlight. It looks pretty good. I know some feel the fairing is part of the package and the way the bike is supposed to look, but I've never cared for it. Pulling the fairing off is a fairly quick job, if you have the right tools lying around. If not, $20 at any decent auto parts store or hardware store will get you what you need. (Torx bit and an extension.) I'll attach a shot (lousy quality) of mine with an aftermarket headlight...

uh... sorry, this should be a better size...

Nice bike CVO WG3!
What kind of headlight is that?
Also, how happy are you with the removable sideplates and turn signal relocation kit?
-
KLars1,
This is the headlamp...
-
I'm pretty sure you CAN'T use the bobtail rack with the detachable sideplates.
-
I'll take a close up pic of the relo kit in the next couple of days...
-
Will try to post a few pics of the bike with and without the detachable sideplates....(http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c310/KJC2005/DSC01743.jpg)

Thansk CVO WG3 for the pics. I appreciate it...the relo kit looks pretty good.

I like the looks of a WG3 without the fairing but hated the stock headlight ring. i purchased a chrome ring extension from harley and it looks great.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Once of the things I liked about this model was the bikini fairing. It was a nod to the custom FXR's of the early 90's. (Dyna's replacing FXR's in the H-D lineup)
