O.K. guys I have great credit, very high FICO score but the best intrest rate that I can find is 10.4 (which is not good in my opnion) from Golden 1 Credit Union.

What interest rates have you guys got and where at?

Try Capital One (www.capitalone.com). They offer a pretty aggressive rate structure. With a credit score of >700, should be 6-8% APR

try 2nd or 3rd loan on property you own intrest is deductable on income tax some senior would be glad to get 5,or 6% rather than 1.75% with CD------------ak

I was offered 7.5% from HD with the purchase of an extended warranty. I ended up going with Navy Federal Credit Union at 6.5% (only problem is you must have military background to join). I just refinanced with Austin Telco Federal Credit Union at 3.5% (the only problem is that you must be, or have been, a resident of the Austin metropolitan area to join). The bottom line is that with a good credit score you should be able to get better than you are being quoted.

Our dealership was able to get 6.9% on 28 Feb 04.

I was offered 84 months at 6.5% all the way down to 4.5% at 60 months, with $10,000 down. Took the 84 months, I can always pay off sooner, which I probably will but with two teenagers driving and two toddlers running around the house you never know what expense is around the corner. I got 6.5% for 5 years @ GECU (Govt. employees Credit Uninon). Funny that they will only consider this rate and this term (5years) with Harley Davidson motorcycles. All others will be @ 10.75% and cannot go past 36 months. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]
