Title: Gear light

From what I have read in the book  when moving. the gear light  should show you what gear you are in. mine only shows N when I stop and put it in N. Am I reading the book wrong?

Hi Older Guy,
  Our CVO Deluxe does show every gear, including neutral.  However, when the clutch is pulled in, the gear indicator does not display, only the "N" is displayed.

I "think" you can switch on or off the gear display.  Check your manual.

The gear indicator is not located with the indicator lamps where the Neutral is found.  It's found to the right of the speedometer and does not display when clutch is pulled in or the bike is in neutral.

Found it works fine, I was looking in the wrong place. I installed the wind deflectors ,seems to help a lot. Pics of windeflectors
