I've learned to NEVER put on hair spray while smoking.

JesterDecor doesn't let me use power tools ever since the incident.

Do you know how many times a drill motor will wrap around itself if you don't take the chuck key out before pulling the trigger?

Ever got a wire brush on a hand grinder caught up in your flannel shirt?

Hey JD, hide all the power tools before we get there, OK? ;D Hoist! 8)

Just got through reading the thread selling some HID lights and 3M paint film.  Then what's the very next thing I see?  The title of this thread....

I don't care what really happened.  You see this title and you just know there's gonna be a story worth telling.

This site is wicked tonight.

My most disliked emoticon, but it seems perfect for right here.  For the HairSpray and the Brylcreme hair styles both;

Your best pics ------ Maybe we should allow for comb overs too!

Q is one of the lucky ones who does not have to cover his head with hair...others like me have the hair 'cause we have no idea how pitted pocked and mis-shapen our bald heads would be.  So, while kept short, I think I will keep my hair...and the Paul Mitchell Styling Gel!

Bill, if Anne ever lets you get away with buzzing it you'll never go back.  Once you get used to morning maintenance being little more than a scratch and maybe a wipe down with wash cloth you won't believe how cumbersome and time consuming it seems on those days you need to do more.

I guess we now need to discuss Salon safety practices.   :nixweiss:  It's a dangerous world out there.

Yeah, my husband's military hair cut has gotten shorter and shorter over the years, but I don't think he uses much shampoo, and I don't think he ever uses conditioner, and I know he needs no hair dressing of anykind.

Course I make up for that for five or six of you guys with the short hair.  I should have investments in all the hair care products of the world.  I must have a bottle of almost everything ever made that promises to condition or strengthen long hair.  Now I do try to be safe with all those products, never take them out for a ride in my pocket.

Now, some of them are probably not safe for packing, so I may need to look more closely into this, thanks for the "Heads' Up on this.   :cherry:

Oven Cleaner!  :o
NO!  That can be dangerous when the rag is thrown down.  It doesn't even need to be in your pocket (although that will definitely guarantee combustion), you can simply throw the rag in the corner of your garage and it could combust.  Their is a chemical reaction that occurs when Oxygen mixed with the volatile fumes from the Oven Cleaner is trapped within the rag.  It only takes about 15 to 20 minutes and then...POOF...you have a fire on your hands.  The same thing can happen with other chemicals, both natural and man made (flax seed oil is a natural substance that comes to mind that can do the exact same thing when left on a bunched up rag).  So this is a valuable lesson to all. Take extreme caution when choosing chemicals for cleaning.  For cleaning motors the best and safest thing to use is a good non acid surfactant cleaner.  GLARE Turbo Action Wheel Cleaner is the best one around for cleaning not just wheels but motors too.   8)
You can buy it here.

Wasn't somebody recommending that Spiderman put flax seed in a bandana and wrap it around his head?   ;D

Are jokes aside, the Glare Wheel cleaner does work well on engines...tried it last weekend.  I'll stick with the Never Dull for getting the rubber off the heat shields.

Wow, it's amazing how chemicals will just start stuff on fire like that, but i know it happens. My moms garage burned down one night along with my fishing poles and bicycle when i was about 13, but she had been redoing the hardwood floors in her house. Fire marshall said that stuff is pretty rare to happen. Evil chemicals anyway, I sure miss that fishing pole, LOL.
