So this epic adventure had me ordering a custom made filter cover. The cover turned out ok however it won't allow me to install the outer cover easily. So I have to go back to the drawing board.... I may send this one back and see if I can get the necessary changes made to make it work smoothly.

These were the tools required to mount my tour pack... not exactly the tools I thought I would have needed.

The passenger seat through me off as it is now wider than OEM. That wouldn't allow the TP to slide over it. Once I calmed down I was able to get past that... Next up was the TP mount was mysteriously not wide enough for the mounting tabs on the bike. Why? I pre-fit all of this before sending parts off to paint. With some careful tapping and restraint form beating the $hit out of it I was able to get it mounted. With some careful tweaking I shouldn't need such violent looking tools to install the TP.

Why TP install? I'm off to Ocean City Thursday for the fourth annual Spring Rally. I'm not expecting much from the event as much as I'm looking forward to the ride.

That's an impressive custom cover for the Agitator filter, what prevents the installation? You could be onto something (again) as I haven't found a sock/cover solution, even as HD offesr for the outside of the Heavy Breather.

Where the top was sewn to the sides a "piping" was used and that doesn't allow the filter with the new cover on it to sit properly in the metal filter cover. With some tweaking to the original design it "Should" work. I just need to take the time to contact the manufacture to implement the changes.

Installed pucks with the skids plates. I drilled the pucks as they were to be applied with just tape. I didn't bolt the original set on through the fiberglass as I thought it would destroy the fiberglass if they caught and I lost one. Since the skid plates are metal I was able to bolt the pucks through them (they weren't pre drilled).
