LOL yes it does. Those tiny rotors still stop the bike though. I've yet to mess with the brakes at all as they work just fine from HD. I've even managed to keep the ABS.

I have come up with a plan of sorts..

I'm going to use a stock (not my CVO) tank and add bond on side covers to it. From there it'll go to Joe for some paint. I had considered a steel stretched tank however after the few issues I had with one this summer I decided OEM was a better idea.

Combined with these...

And with Joe's paint work I hope to have this...

My extended side covers of choice as of now are SPD's as I was able to get them in a 8" stretch to match my bags.

I like this bike....

I have had a few offers to sell and when it came down to it in the end I don't want to sell it.

Now if the 16.5 or 17 Roadie is Orange with a 120 than I think I could sell and start over......

Amazing thread. I started reading it and said man that atomic orange is cool, nice road glide, i didn't know what i was getting into. Three hours later, i say wow, this guy has skills.

Anyway i applaud you sharing your real experience (hiccups and all) and your vision, walking us thorough your build.

I figure your a machinist (engineer) or something like that.

And this could be your resume.

I think your a Jack of all trades and master of them as well.
