Larry Grodsky
« on: May 31, 2006, 09:31:19 PM »

Yesterday when my Rider Magazine subscription arrived I was stunned by the sad news that Larry Grodsky, the writer of the "Stayin' Safe" column for the last 18 years, was killed April 8th, 2006 in a motorcycle vs. deer collision in Texas. I have been reading Larry's column for over ten years and looked forward to it every month. I became a better rider thanks to his wise advice provided to readers like me. Reading his columns was like riding with him, I envy those people that got the chance to actually ride with the man. Even though I never met him, to read his column was like getting advice from an old friend. We sure will miss him. To his family, friends and co-workers, my sympathy to you.
