Small world:

Paul Brandt (his family has the dealership in Wabash, INDIANA) and I were pledge brothers and then Fraternity brothers in Delta Chi at NORTHWEST MISSOURI SATE UNIV. (in Maryville, MO, where Paul played Center Field for the Bearcats) from '79-'83.  Paul went back to Wabash, and I went back to Omaha, Nebraska, and we have even ridden together a couple of times since when he stopped by on his way to Sturgis!!

Has anyone heard if the 07 SE Ultras are shipping again? Have the delayed bikes started showing up. My original ship date was July 10 and they still can't give me a straight answer when it will be here.

Just at local HD dealer looking for their first Blue Road King. Scheduled ship date 7/19 and they have no idea when it will be delivered. So I think the delay is still valid.

Its been about a week since I have posted but here goes.

1. Loving my 07 O/B CUSE2 and am doing the 1000 mile service on it tomorrow. (I buy bikes to ride, not as investments)
2. Not too many people know what it is.
3. I stop at every HD dealer i see to show to the sales staff. (I live on the road so I see a lot of dealers)
4. Most sales staff don't believe I have one in the parking lot and won't make the walk out there.
5. How did you get it and who do you know are the questions sales guys ask me.
6. Daytona HD has at least 3 new 06 CUSE for sale at $39,995. At least 3 used low mileage 06 CUSE's for $36,995. But no 07's.
7. How do they figure a guy will spend that money for those bikes?
8. Can't wait to see the previous posters Red/Black 07 CUSE2. Believe it when I see it.
9. I worked hard to get my bike as soon as I heard what they were by a call from San Diego. Got it at MSRP.
10. Best of luck to all looking for these bikes. They are amazing machines!

Yes, I picked up the red/black Saturday. I was not thrilled when the dealer first told me my bike was coming in red. But I gotta tell you it's awesome (and I never use the word awesome...it's so over used) Yes I have pictures and I will attempt to post this morning.
In the mean time I have a question.  I can't find the thread that talked about moving the tour pack back.  Something about it being shipped in a forward position and it should be moved back about an inch.  My wife is 5 foot and 105 pounds. She said she was jammed in and her legs were hitting my backrest. Finally I took my backrest off just to shut her up. All she kept saying was "I don't know how a bigger woman can fit in here"!

If you pull the liner out of the tourpak...takes a couple of seconds...you'll see the mounting holes in the bottom of the tourpak and be able to tell if it is mounted in the most forward holes.  The extra inch makes a difference!!  You can also remove the seat and move the backrest forward a notch...I needed to because I'm short...helped my back support and gave my passenger more room as well. If you're tall, you probably won't need to do this, depending on how long your arms are.
