Thanks for the compliments. I was hesitant to do it at first. After a crazy soccer mom pulled right in front of me I decided the extra lights might help dip chits to see me. If they pull in front of me now, I know they are simply needing an ass kicking...LOL.

Good job and those will also help a lot riding through the twisties in the dark. The new Daymaker headlight alone is great going straight on the highway, but SUCKS by itself if you hit any real curves in the road. This also reminds me I still have to find a stealer willing to change mine so the driving lights stay on with the high beam this year. I love the new LED lights, but they really do suck for aggressive night riding which I happen to do a lot of.

Maybe a good pair of steel toe boots would come in handy for those that still will not see you.

Funny you mentioned that phantom. Riding home from Florida to Texas i went on some "backroads". I road most of the night trying to make time. The light issue with a single headlight caused me to ride much slower than I would have preffered. I hope this helps for those occasions when out late on country or unkonown roads.

Anything shiny looks better on a BLUE backround. Good job looks like should have come that way. :drink:

Yep ... the Daymakers put out a nice bright white light, BUT the beam itself is too narrow and focused for any confidence with aggressive turns at night for my liking. Keep in mind that my bike came with the aux/driving lights from the factory ... I even adjusted my headlight up, made a socket to adjust the aux lights up too and still not happy with the outcome unless my nose is pointed straight ahead at night. Believe it or not, I could see better at night and ride faster with my old Road Glide with "fixed" headlights than with this bike with LEDs that turn with the forks. I often had to jack off the high beam switch with the RG depending on the turn or up/down hills to see better, but that makes things worse with this one since you lose the broader pattern of the aux lights with the high beam. I might be a little happier if I can get one of the dealers to get in the computer and change that ... IF they are willing. I already asked the stealer where I got mine from and they won't do it because of Pa. inspection laws. Maybe I can head over to the buckeye this summer and get it taken care of somewhere, but then when insp. comes up I will probably get hassled.
