JUST TRYING TO FIX A THUMBNAIL SIZE PAINT CHIP ON FRONT OF TANK ON 2007 CVO SPRINGER CANYON COPPER // CANDY RED --- WHAT A HASSLE !!! NO PAINT CODES OR HELP HERE IN INDIANAPOLIS AREA ,, EVEN THE PPG DIST. CANT FIND ANYTHING ,   I MAY HAVE TO BUY 4-5 TOUCH UP KITS TO GET CLOSE TO A MATCH ,,, ANY HELP

You must have pretty big thumbnail for one touch-up kit not covering it? I have bought touch-up kits from my H-D dealer and the bottle contains enough paint to do the job. You could also consider using touch-up paint to get your paint scanned and matched from your PPG dealer.
An old thread on here had a phone number to call for paint codes but Harley treats the CVO paint codes like nuclear launch codes and never releases them.

IVE BEEN TOLD BY THE PAINTER THAT HE NEED TO SHOOT 1/2 THE TANK TO PROPERLY BLEND THE PAINT ,I TRUST HIS WORK ,,  I DONT JUST WANT TO  BRUSH IT -- THANKS

HD has a touch up kit for that bike its a base coat then a top coat i sold my springer to a guy on this site he goes by slimdude he has the touch up kit may he will see this and chime in....

Bright Victory Red base, code on bottle is 98600KU

Inca Orange Pearl top coat, code on bottle is 36H031

chit, glad I haven't touched anything up recently then, I thought for sure it was the orange that came in the pack

I don't get what concord purple is tho? It's a standalone bottle. Doesn't say base or top coat. Then there's Bright Victory Red base, Inca Orange top coat, and Candy Red top coat.

Unless canyon copper for 08 cvo is a different makeup???
