Title: Hitch for FLHXSE3
Post by: dayne66 on March 19, 2018, 06:16:46 PM
Been lookin' and I'm not finding anything......not even exposed....prefer hidden w/ removable bar.The signal lights / fender extension seem to be the issue.

Bushtec lists one (version 2) for up to "11 CVO SGs....I thought the '11 and '12 had the same rear end...no?

Anyone else make one?    It's time to get a trailer to haul the clubs around on vacations!

Not for sure which hitch you really need, my Roadglide uses the V3, but if the V2 we to fit your bike there is one in the for sale board at a pretty decent price

The rear of my bike looks like yours.....with one piece LED filler / fender extension. So I think a V3 is what I'll need but:

"""Version 3 Bushtec hitch for 2009 THROUGH 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide, 2010-2011 CVO Street Glide. (Version 3 is designed to fit models with longer fender extension with no light). """

Does it fit the "12 CVO SG ...or not?

Another option....It's not clear in the photo if it's as 'invisible' the V3 Bushtec.

When I drop the reciever out of the V3 the remainder is hidden.

If you have the LED filler strips and the extended rear fender I don't know why it wouldn't work. The frames are the same.

I don't think you will be disappointed going that route. You might talk to them about the lighting isolator too. It was plug and play on my 09

Yes< I chatted with Bushtec this morning...will get their isolator also.

I will probably get the Bushtec hitch with the ball attachment........when I find a deal on a trailer , if it's a bushtec....they seem to quite often come with the part that fits in the receiver.
