Just installed the 2.0 muffles on my already decat bike.
Can't be happier!
Sound is beautiful, performance great.
Furthermore the bike is less heating, torque is still powerfull.
Now the questions.
1.
Would like to reduce the idle RPM to have a better sound but I am looking for that sweet number preserving the engine from troubles. Actually I got stock 950RPM (after the warm up) so maybe 750RPM can be a good move....?
Can be the EIMTS on or better off when the idle will be lowered?
2.
I have the power vision and I am auto tuning the bike for best results. Is it there any available profile for 117 decat?

The information I've seen indicates the idle speed for the M-8 engines was lowered from the 950 rpm of the Twin Cams to 850 rpm for the M-8. You may want to verify your idle speed with a good mechanics tachometer instead of the gauge on the bike.
I would not recommend dropping the idle speed to 750 rpm. Doing so negatively impacts the oiling system and the electrical charging system.

Thanks for your reply
So you suggest to leave the stock RPM idle?

Yes. It is much more important to have the engine function as it was designed to function, than it is to make it sound "cool". Many people in the past used to try to set idle speed on the carbureted bikes very low to make them sound "cool". Then they bitched and moaned about no oil pressure and low batteries. Btw, an abnormally low idle speed also leads to driveability problems like stumbling when trying to accelerate from a stop.

I think will stay with stock idle RPM or (at least) decrease just 50RPM.
Thanks a lot for advice.
PM: had chance to hear the Fullsac sound? What you think about?
