« on: September 22, 2019, 10:48:17 AM »

Does anyone know why Harley's Hi-Flow exhaust won't work on a CVO? Lol, asking for a friend.

Who suggested the hi-flow exhaust can't be used on a CVO?

I didn't check it myself but the service manager looked it up and told me it excluded CVO models.

He's probably referring to the 2020 CVO Trike.

Thanks for the replies. He must have misunderstood. Does anyone know if you can use the stock heat shields on the Hi-Flow exhaust?

since the system comes with heat shields, i would guess that the stock wouldn't work.  you know how hd is, if there is somewhere to shave a quarter, they're going to....

The hi flow has a crossover pipe (x pipe) so the stock heat-shields will not fit.

I installed the hi-flow exhaust on my 2019 CVO Limited last Fall and am very satisfied with it. The bike runs very smooth and has a nice deep rumble. I have taken out the bafflers. The stock shields will not fit on the hi-flow exhaust
