"Vance and Hines head pipes with rush slip ons"
« on: January 13, 2010, 09:36:24 PM »

I stopped at HD Louisville today and on the floor was a new bike with "Vance and Hines head pipes with rush slip ons". this sounded great. They are true duals and the Cat would come out if I have this system put on. The cost is about $1,700 for parts and service. One of the best sounding bikes I've heard. Has anyone else seen them or know more then what I have listed. Here is a pic.

If they are the new V&H true duals, there is no cat installed!

Chris,
I would recommend the performance gain you would get by putting the Vance and Hines Power Duals vice the true duals.  Unless you don't like the looks of the "X" collector on them.  I have true duals on my 07 SEUC, and they work and sound fine, but I'm getting better numbers out of my Power Duals on the SESG, and they sound just as good.  Keep in mind I have different mufflers though.  I have the standard ovals on the SEUC and the basic slippons on the SESG, so the basics are a tad louder than the standard ovals.  Obviously you know what you want, but I thought I'd just throw that thought in.
