Properly flow matched injectors will always give you a smoother running engine. The question really that needs to be asked is where are they flow matched at? Some get flowed only at max and that is not any better than just getting ones out of the box. They really need to be matched up and down the entire operating range for it to be worth the trouble of getting it done.
4.35 g/s injectors are good for ~ 55 hp per injector
5.3 g/s injectors are good for ~ 68 hp per injector
6.2 g/s injectors are good for ~ 79 hp per injector
So depending on what power output your looking for pick the proper size.
Yeah, I'm sure that most are flow matched at a static open condition, 80% duty cycle or something like that. I'd love to be able to drop in a set of Injector Dynamics ID725 injectors, but they won't come close to physically fitting (too long). With that said, who's injectors do you run Steve?
On another note, RC Engineering emailed back and said theirs are matched within 1-2%. Does anyone know the approx flow ratings of Marren's stage 1, 2 and 3 injectors?
