Heading back to Knoxville from Doc's Performance Tuning in Minneola FL after completing the final stage of the winter project.

Changes to the Skunk include:
Head Designs by Dewey
10.5 to 1 pistons (corrected to 10.8 to 1)
SE 259E cams
HPI 55mm TB with 5.3 injectors
Jackpot x-pipe
4" Rinehart mufflers

STD numbers 124.50 HP and 129.85 TQ
SAE numbers 121.33 HP and 126.54 TQ

Took it it out for a test drive after Doc worked his magic :2vrolijk_21: and WOW!!!  :orange:

Will post the dyno sheets when I get back to K-Town.

That skunk should be a runner.   :2vrolijk_21:  Now you may have to consider an upgraded front suspension (and maybe rear) to control it.  "Power is nothing without control."   8)

Wow,  that is very nice.  It did move the torque up even down under 3000 rpm.  Looks like lots of power with but an easy to ride torque curve.

SAE dyno sheet

If I'm reading the sheet right, the difference between the two runs is pistons/heads, throttle body, and headpipes.

I don't suppose you have any idea how much of that difference is attributable to the exhaust change?  I assume you made that change with some sort of expectations; what were they?

Sorry no idea on just the head pipe. Reason for the pipe change was two fold. Needed to increase the exhaust flow and the dual 02 sensor locations. The 02 bungs at the top of the pipe give a faster reading for the dyno than lower down.

My expectations were meet. The numbers are pretty much what Doc said they would be after making the additional changes.
