Title: New Harley store
Post by: ultrafxr on December 14, 2008, 11:42:31 AM
Bumpus H-D got the go ahead from the moco to open their fifth store.  In Lynchburg, TN - how cool is that.  Jack Daniels and Harley, two premium true all-American icons.

Will it be a true dealership or just a t-shirt shop like the one at Graceland?

Dealership or a satellite?  Can't imagine Lynchburg would have the demographic numbers for a dealership store.

My bet would be the boutique outlet...

From what I know, a satellite for sure.  Don't know if there'll be any bikes or service - probably not to start out.  Still sure bet they'll do some good business.  Heck I want a Harley T with the Jack Daniels logo on it also.

Holler at me when it warms up a little and I'll meet you there for a t-shirt run ..... I'm about an hour away

It is encouraging to see a new dealership opening in light of the difficult economic times we are now facing.  ;D  ;D  ;D

Sch-weeeeeeet!

Love riding to Lynchburg. Bumpus is a good dealership. I bought my first FLTR from them in The Boro. The general manager is a friend of mine. His son and my daughter were in the same kindergarten class.

My mother lives in Lynchburg, haven't seen her since 92, guess a new t-shirt is a good enough reason to make the ride over!
