The Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority is moving forward with plans to bring
blues and bikes to Memphis International Airport.
The organization has filed a $300,000 building permit to convert terminal space to B.B.
King and Harley Davidson-themed retail stores.
Hudson Group, a New Jersey-based travel retailing company which has concepts such as
Hudson News, will operate the space.
Juan Self, principal of Self Tucker Architects Inc., is designing the stores, which will
replace the Memphis Kitchen and Sun Studio stores in Terminal B’s atrium area.
The work is scheduled to be completed by August.
