A motorcycle driver was killed and his passenger critically wounded Saturday afternoon when he drifted over the centerline on Route 149 in Weare, New Hampsire and collided with a truck.
The Weare police said Kenneth Hammer Jr. of Pembroke, NH was driving west on Route 149 about 2 p.m. Saturday when his Harley-Davidson crossed into the oncoming lane and the path of a truck, according to the police. Hammer was pronounced dead at the scene, and his female passenger was airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, the police said. Her name was not released.
The truck driver, whose name was also withheld, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Very sad story to hear. My thoughts go out to his family and friends and also to his passenger, let's hope she makes a full recovery.
