Peeling chrome corrosion on aggressor wheels
« on: February 25, 2023, 08:06:53 AM »

Good morning guys I bought a 2016 street glide with the contrast chrome aggessor wheels and the chrome on the spokes are Peeling and have corrosion.  What are you guys doing replacing them with aftermarket, buying new or any luck powder coating.     Also and pics of white amethyst bikes with different wheels would be appreciated

See if you have an alloy wheel repair local to you.  I had my rear wheel refinished in black and the edges were machined back down to the original alloy (similar to a contrast cut wheel) they covered the whole wheel with a very thick clear coat so it’s just wash and go (no more polishing the aluminum). The wheel still looks better than new and that was 4-5 years ago.

Since almost every car has alloy wheels a complete industry of wheel repair centers both small and mobile to large ship in for repairs exist. If you have a local collision shop your either familiar with or trust ask them who they use and possibly they could repair yours.
