Vickie Lynn Babb, age 63, of Collegeville, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at her home.

She was born in DeKalb, Illinois on May 12, 1959, the daughter of the late Oliver and Shirley (Jacox) Wooten.

Vickie has been living in Collegeville since 1994, formerly of Dublin, NH and Rochelle, IL.  She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Limerick.  As a career she unselfishly dedicated herself to guiding young adolescents, faced with life challenges, towards living a successful life.

She enjoyed living life to the fullest, she embraced her creativity through sewing, quilting and scrapbooking. Ever the social butterfly she loved concerts, trips and time out on the deck or at the pool. Vickie had a vivacious personality, she always made people feel loved and special. She made friends everywhere she went through her journey, offering a kind word or a bright smile.  A devoted Christian, Vickie enjoyed listening to Mercy Me, Mandisa and Chris Thomplinson, praising God and attending church with her friends and family.

Vickie was a dedicated wife, mother, and Mimi. She treasured her moments with her family and loved creating memories with them. She could be found traveling across the country with Jim on their motorcycles, going to soccer games with AJ, movies with Westen or coloring and playing games with her grandsons and she would love those moments all equally.

Vickie enjoyed the trips that Jim would put together for them. Whether she was his copilot, riding on the back of his motorcycle or riding her motorcycle beside him she loved their journey through life together.

She is survived by her husband, James Babb of Collegeville; two sons, Albert "AJ" Babb of Royersford and Westen Babb of Limerick; and siblings, Jesse (June) Wooten, Deanna Wooten, Rhonda Starr, Nancy Poe, and John (Debbie) Wooten.  She is also survived by four grandchildren, Chase, Elijah, Silas and Paxton and numerous nieces and nephews.
