Hello everyone,
I’m probably every CVO lover’s nightmare - a new rider and CVO owner.
I blame the sales team at John Elway Harley Davidson in Greeley Colorado.  They managed to sell me my bike within a week of signing up for the rider course.
However, I’m a little older (46) and know what a prize I have purchased, and have tried to be careful and take care of her.  Over 1000 miles so far (within an month of riding) and not a scratch.
Anyway, I’m hoping for a lot of good information on this site to help keep my Baby happy and in good shape.
First question - I’ve ordered a copy of the 2007 Dyna service manual - is the FXDSE supplement a good investment as well?  What does it have that the service manual doesn’t?  How about the parts catalogue?
I’m eager to “meet” you all!

I’ll post a bike pic as soon as I can reduce the file size.

Smart move, if you're new to riding, just take it easy......for a few years.  By the way, you may be on the young side for the members of this forum.  LOL  Several of us have been here on this forum for 20 years!

Where are you located in Colorado?  A small group of us riding through in late June.  If you're close to where we'll be riding through maybe we can meet up for lunch of dinner?

I think maybe I figured out the photo posting/reducing file size.  Let's see.
I live in NE Colorado, in Greeley.  I have not been to Ouray, but I've heard the area is amazing.  My Dad is part of a vintage Willys group, (mostly 40s and 50s) that does trips in that area.  He's been down Black Bear Road in a '48 Willys.  I've joined him for a few trips in the Salida area, but that trip happens in September.
I haven't ventured into the mountains on my Harley yet.
