Confirmed...
Dan_Lockwood:
Hello everyone!
As you probably know, I've had a deposit on a new CVO trike since September. Well, I've had a deposit on a 2026 Harley three-wheeler of some sort or another. Not knowing that there would for sure be a CVO, but I was hoping.
The Greater Detroit area dealers have had several of the new CVO trikes in the Citrus Heat Tri-Tone and they were not even ordered through the system as SOLD orders. Mine on the other hand, WAS sold when the order was placed. Just shows what a volume dealer gets versus a smaller dealership. Squeaky wheel gets the grease, for sure!
I just got a call from my GM that he has been told by his area manager's boss that one has NOW been allocated to their dealership!!!!!
Won't know for sure when yet, but I do know that I won't have to look elsewhere and pay over MSRP to get one. GREAT NEWS!
It pays BIG MONEY to deal with a local smaller dealership that values customers! "IF" I were to have to go to Motown Harley to purchase this same trike, it would cost me, give or take a few bucks, $15,738.00 MORE!!!!! That of course includes the $10,500 MARKET ADJUSTMENT fee that Motown Harley is charging.
I asked my GM if I can start ordering add on parts now, and he said YES! Oh boy, we're very happy... :)
Sorry to ramble on and on about just getting confirmation about our order. Just like a little 76-year-old kid... :)

Thanks Greg.
I see you have a Beemer that you ride. I still had my '09 SERG up until early October with just 27k miles on it. I told the wife that I would NEVER ride a trike, but never say never... :)
In the interim between stop riding the Harley and getting something with a lower center of gravity, I bought a 2020 BMW c650 GT Maxi-Scooter. In theory, it does everything I wanted it to do. 60 hp, 112 mph ECM limited, heated seats and grips, electric windscreen, ABS and traction control. But as you know, some of these Beemers are a bit tall in the saddle. It was very difficult for the wife to get up and adjusted on the rear seating area. Once there, she was very comfy and loved the ride. I even designed a master cylinder cross mount system for a 7" Bluetooth screen to use my phone's Apple CarPlay. I had JBL Cruise Bluetooth speakers and it was a blast to ride. Even keep up with the nephew's on their Harleys.
But again, never say never. I finally sat on a Tri-Glide in August in Des Moines and it felt "okay". When we got back to MI, we made a trip down state to Motown Harley and test rode a '25 Tri-Glide. It too, was just okay, but I know I can adjust to it quite easily. At 2.5 hours away from our home, and their pushy sales attitude, we decided to go local and that's when I placed a deposit on a '26 trike. I was hopeful that HD might have a CVO in '26. The rest they say is history!
I sold my loved '09 SERG for $13k and the guy was happy, for sure... :) Now I have my Beemer for sale if anyone is looking for a nice fun Maxi-Scooter. Let me know if anyone has any questions about the Beemer. It's white pearl and grey.
Looking forward to our new adventure with the new CVO trike.
Dan
