You are lucky you came out not too bad, the adreniline rush makes you think you arent that hurt imo, you sure feel it 2 days after though. Hope you heel up quickly.

Get well soon man, I know you will. Hopefully that were minor injuries.
Thank GOD we do not have deers in the Caribbean except for Chicken, dogs or may be some Iguanas (not endemic in the island).

For all that read this,
 Please Please get the loudest horn you can fit on your bike.I have these very small horns called ear cannons 138Db each.I have two mounted under my fariring lowers.Last week coming home from a nice ride.Had only been dark about a half hour.I saw the car in front of me hit the brakes.To my right I saw the deer standing near the edge of the road.Gave him a good long blast.He turned and went back into the woods.I was taught at a young age on a motorcycle you can't have brakes too good horns too loud,or lights to bright.

Unfortunately I never saw the deer until it was to late.
