A Friend goes down........

I work over Seas. The last weekend I was Home. ( July 31) My friend and his father had planned a morning ride. We left right at 7:00 a.m . We were to go to Cameron La. then head west to Port Aurthur Tx then cut back through the woods back to DeRidder La.
When we got into DeQuincy it was suppose to be a left turn and two blocks up a right on Hwy 27 to Sulpher La. I usually lead the way. For some reason that morning I decided to take up the rear. When we turned left onto hwy 12 I smelled Diesel. I was in the right side of the lane.The diesel was in a trail right in the center of the lane. I guess Lamar did not see it because when he went to turn. His Roadking just slid right from underneath him. The Bikes crash bars saved any real damage. Lamar has a little road rash and a bruised hip and Ego. Everything happened so fast..........

Glad everyone is OK other than a little road rash, could have been much worse if there was heavy traffic.
