now that i am at 2400 miles or so, I am looking to uncork this bad boy!

i plan to keep the motor looking stock, but with the punch! It already has the heavy breather, but i am removing the cat from the stock 'tommy gun' exhaust and ceramic coating, then gutting the stock mufflers and replacing the baffle with 1 7/8" ones, the Super Tuner will also be used. i do not want to change compression or heads at all.

i realize that the 574 is a bit more mid range than the low grunt of the 54, but i am looking to compair their manors and part-throttle behavior more than WOT. is there an audable difference at idle? does one have a different 'bark' than the others? I am a rather agressive rider in town and mountains spending ~30% time there, but when i am cruising i like to stay between 2-2.5krpm as much as possible.

thoughts? are there others i should be considering?i have seen 3-4 dyno sheets of each, but could use a bit of a nudge either way.

if ur keeping the compression stock, i'd stay with a cam that has an intake close of 36 or less... any higher and u'll lose bottom end...

That 574 does not take the hit as hard as it should based on the specs just bolted into a stocker. Either will have excellent manors assuming the pipe is proper and the tune done right. My choice would be the 574 just because I see it trending better (dyno results and owner comments) in the 110 motor.
