 There is nothing Sissy about that backrest....

Took a ride down to White Lightning HD to watch my wife ride in with Adam Sandoval.  Put a nice 125 miles on the CVO.

In motorcyclist jargon, the sissy bar describes the (padded) backrest of the pillion seat of a motorcycle, which is sometimes found on choppers and cruisers. Literally translated, Sissybar means "sissy" or "sissy bar".

Rode a round trip over to SMHD to meet up with my wife and Adam Sandoval again.  She got to lead part of his charity ride.

Washed the CVO yesterday between the rain showers, replaced a couple gaskets on the air cleaner assembly also.

Got back from a short road trip to AZ.
Just clicked over 70,000 miles on the odometer.
Just over 40,000 on the 124 kit and the bike is running just as fast as after the break in a few years ago!

Big thanks to all with help getting the right parts for the build and dyno tune, You know who you are! LOL

Left Yuma yesterday morning with beautiful weather half way to San Diego.
Then, hit high winds, overcast cool weather. San Diego had mid 60’s today and drizzle.
Quite the change from Sunday at 100+ In Yuma to today with mid 60’s in San Diego!

Changed the inner cam bearings and cam chain tensioner shoes on my dad’s 03 RK a couple weeks ago…decided to go ahead and change mine before our upcoming trip so spent some time this morning ordering the Cyco shoes and buying all the O-rings and gaskets for the job.
