That's not a car you usually associate with a frame off restoration. But there are exceptions to every rule.
Back in '01 at the St. Ignace MI car show, I had dinner with Jon Moss. He sat across the table from my wife and I. Very nice guy.
Back in the 90's GM dipped the frames in black wax and that was their version of "rust protection". For the few years that this car was on the road the frame "wax" absorbed all the road grime/trash and looked terrible at car shows. So my son and I decided to separate the frame and body. Frame has been powered coated and is just waiting for me to find time to reassemble. I am planning to powder coat as much as I can as we reassemble. BTW, It is a supercharged LPE 350 with T56 conversion. Ran it once and it did 12:86 @ 108. Yes, Jon is a great guy, we got some stuff signed by him prior to his retirement.
