Gary, you just stumbled on idea to gain wealth behind even an OCD Harley owner's wildest needs. Come up with a way to convince women that junk in the trunk is really just imaginary. Brilliant!

That goes right up there with how do you answer the question... "Do these jeans make my butt look big?" [smiley=nixweiss.gif] The answer to this question is directly connected to what side of the bed you want to be on later. ;)

[smiley=fireman.gif]
D00d, exactly twice in my life I have answered that question (or a version of it) with the truth: "No dear, your jeans are fine, your butt was big before you put them on." But both times one foot was already outside the door anyway. I was a much less patient man when I was younger ::) .

I hope you were quick when you were younger and were able to get your other foot out the door before she slammed it on it. [smiley=oops.gif] [smiley=shocked2.gif] [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Welcome to the site Junkman and Junkette! Great people here....even Dave.
Dave...let me make sure I understand all of this correctly...you've got a friend who rides on a Pumkin (sounds like Cinderella/Cinderfella to me), and he/she is somehow confused about his/her gender, and his/her significant other is also confused about his/her gender... ;) ;)....uh, whatever blows your skirt up, that's what I always say. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
....and you were givin' me grief about the jeans statements, and here you are with real/imaginary "friends". I guess the question is do any of them have "boys", or does that change too? [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] It's fun giving payback... [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=drink.gif]
Again, welcome to the site, and looking forward to meeting you guys in MV!!

There is no correct answer to that question, d00d......the best you can do is cry "foul" and act like you just got choked on your beer until she thinks of something else to talk about, which usually only takes a couple of seconds.....

Hi everybody! My name is Cary Atkins. I have to admit that I have been a lurker since about February when I bought my 01 SERG. I have a 03 Softail Standard and was looking at the 06 Street Glide for something that was a little more comfortable on longer trips when Scooterhair convinved me of what the SERG had to offer. We found a blue one in Souix Falls SD with 9,200 miles. The bike was (and still is) in perfect condition and came with a lot of extras. The CVO cover and an outdoor cover, 3 extra windshields of different heights, all of the manuals,tour pack and saddlebag luggage, passenger backrest, SERT, and the die cast model. I have since upgraded the speakers with Hog tunes, replaced the ambient temp gague with an oil temp gague from Mcewan and a White Bros. lowering kit on the rear. I am up to almost 16,000 miles now and I really LOVE this bike. With all of the extras that the SE has over a new Street Glide, I'm really glad that I went this way! The only problem is that the Softaiil doesn't get too many miles any more.

Hey, welcome and thanks for showing of the bikes.
You'll have to hook up with Twolanerider when he gets back from Maggie Valley, he's right in your neck of the woods.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. Talk to you later.

yep another lurker turned CVO! I live in Vancouver, Canada and there are very few CVO's here. I was surfing the internet a month ago, dreaming of my Platinum Silver SE Fatboy when I typed in Google- Fatboy, Screaming Eagle, Vancouver....and low and behold the exact bike I was dreaming about was for sale in my City on Craigslist. I called him right away and it only had 50 miles on it! I went down to see it and it was brand new. This guy just moved from Boston to Vancouver. He is a wealthy land developer with money to burn. He bought a $500k motorhome just for the trip to Vancouver. Then he thought to himself hmmm....I dont want to drive this big motorhome through the cities I dont know, so I will buy a bike to put on the back. He told me " I wanted one of those 3 wheel bikes but when I went to the dealership I saw this one liked it and bought it." Didnt even know what he had. He drove it home from the dealership 50 miles and never drove it since. His wife doesnt want to get on the back and told him to get rid of it haha
Needless to say its now mine!
I put on 500 miles in 2 days....a beautiful cruise to Whistler, BC and Harrison Lake. I said to myself when I bought it ....its expensive but everything is done and I dont have to spend anymore. hahaha Came back from the dealer today with $1500 in add-ons and will be adding a lot more over the winter.
I would like to the thank everyone who contributes to this board as it has made a world of difference for me!

Welcome to the site, Full Throttle! You're right about the amount of information (and fun) available here. Nice bike and nice story about the acquisition of it. His loss, your gain. Like you said, everything is already on it! ;)
