D00d, exactly twice in my life I have answered that question (or a version of it) with the truth: "No dear, your jeans are fine, your butt was big before you put them on."  But both times one foot was already outside the door anyway.  I was a much less patient man when I was younger   .

Dave...let me make sure I understand all of this correctly...you've got a friend who rides on a Pumkin (sounds like Cinderella/Cinderfella to me), and he/she is somehow confused about his/her gender, and his/her significant other is also confused about his/her gender... ....uh, whatever blows your skirt up, that's what I always say. There is no correct answer to that question, d00d......the best you can do is cry "foul" and act like you just got choked on your beer until she thinks of something else to talk about, which usually only takes a couple of seconds.....
