Jacking up 103
« on: February 08, 2007, 08:40:57 PM »

I have an 06 SE Ultra. I am looking for some advice as to what to do to add a juice to the motor. Remember I live in California where it seems the dealer is no longer able to sell some of the high performance parts he used to sell. I think?
I have put a Race tuner.6 speed and dual Vance and Hines on it but other than that nothing. I don't know much about California law and I assume it has to do with emissions. Is anyone in the know as to what I can legally do to the bike or illegally if the fine is not too much haha
Heads cams I am open to pretty much anything I just want to end up with a reliable build.
My Road King we added a 95 kit, changed the compression to 10.5 to 1 and added 211 cams with head and piston work I really like what I got out of that build but my wife has now taken over the Road King
Please let me know your ideas
Thanks

For the 103 motors Zippers has a 575 cam and Freedom Cycle in Reno has a FCC14 cam that are designed specifically for the 103's as a bolt in cam without any head work. Both of these cams work very well. Torque numbers up to about 115-120 and horse power up to about 110.

If you want to do head work then there are many more options. Most poeple have been very happy with these cams alone though.

Where is CA are you?

PS; Welcome to the site!
