Has anyone had this issue? Since I installed the TTS Mastertune in my 2013 CVORK, the cruise control will not set. It will turn on (amber indicator is lit) but it will not set (amber to green.) Perhaps this is a coincidence, but I thought I'd check here first.

I just installed a Fullsac map on my 2015 FLHXSE and everything works great including cruise.

The 2015's indicate all six gears and they all display correctly on mine AFTER map install.

I still can't get my sixth gear indicator or cruise control to work. With that said I haven't looked into it to deep either.....

Go into your TTS and under tuning constants and change primary ratio setting. (Example if you are at 1.353 change to 1.330) it may fix both those problems.


TTS MasterTune Technical Bulletin MT-TB2010-02

This problem can sometimes occur even when the correct gearing is selected.
This is because the late model 6-speeds use a helical gear for the VSS sensor pick-up.
The helical fear does not give as good a signal as the older straight -cut gear-resulting in missed pulses.
This is compensated for by adjusting the primary ratio downward a bit.
This adjustment will not affect the speedometer calibration.

To fix the problem, the primary gear ratio setting in Constants needs to be reduced slightly.
For example, if the setting is currently 1.353 change the setting to 1.330 and check if the problem is solved.
In some cases it may be necessary to reduce the setting a bit more.

You may start with clutch sensor which located behind clutch hand paddle, broken sensor will always indicate that the clutch is engaged

I have had a TTS tuner on my 13 CVORK since I got the bike.  Both Cruise and 6th gear indictors work.   Bike was tuned by Doc in FL right after I built the motor.

Not sure why it would not be working.

Steve Cole can be reached in a special section for TTS issues; it seems he isn't allowed to post in regular threads any more??  Anyway, once you have made sure it's a TTS map or map install problem, I'd suggest contacting him.  However, don't assume it's the TTS map before you check the basics.  Cruise engage switch, brake switches, clutch switch, etc.

Try re-installing the stock map and see if things return to normal.

Would I still see a neutral light if the clutch switch were not functioning properly?

The main purpose of the switch is as a safety feature, to prevent starter operation in gear with the clutch engaged.  It can also be used to deactivate the cruise control, just as the brake light circuit does.  But it won't affect the gear position indicator or neutral light.

Thank you, that helps. Based on that reply I don't believe it's the clutch switch as the gear indicator does not function. For me cruise and the 6th gear light worked after the TTS was installed. I'm a half dozen maps later and I don't recall where it all stopped functioning. I'm guessing it was around the time of the belt drive install or at least after that is when I noticed I had no cruise.
