Exhaust
« on: February 25, 2007, 01:46:43 PM »

I was wondering whats the most popular, best sounding and best performing exhaust is for the new 07 SERK? I was thinking about the rinehart true duels or the 2 in 1 rinehart, any thoughts? Do you recomend changing out the air cleaner for something better?

Thanks,

Personally I think that baggers look best with the duals. i would stick with the RH. The SERK already has the high flow backplate. I would just change the element out to the K&N HD-0800

Seeing as my Rinehart True Duals just got here, I have to give them my vote.

I really got interested in the FatCat 2-1 after seeing the installation with the falsie. They look great, and have great performance. They're cheaper than the Rinehart's too.

If the Rineharts prove too loud, I'll switch to the FC 2-1's.

I have had Rinehart's on my last three bikes and I think they are the best. I have a 07 Ultra with them and
on the dyno I am at 99hp and 113 tk.

I have the Rinehart 2-1 on my 07 SE Ultra.  I love the damn thing and last weekend I added the TMax and Autotune and woke the bike and pipe up!  Rode with a buddy on Tues and he said the pipe had a much better sound with the TMAX added.  Here is a pic of it on the bike.

Thanks jeffj,
I keep eyeing the pic of your bike slammed with the Legend Air Ride and getting ready to pull the trigger on that purchase.  Did you do the install yourself?

Not answering for Jeff, but the install of the Legends is no problem...about a three hour job, give or take an hour.  When you get ready, there are quite few of us who can help you out if you have any problems with the install.
