Well took the plunge & ordered the TMAT from M&M Cycles, having it overnighted to me so will be getting it tommorow am. Iam hoping its going to live up to its good remarks that ive been reading thru out this forum. Now have to remove exhaust to install O2 sensors. May have to bend rear bung to get installed on pipe. Hopefully it will go smooth. Suppose to be bad weather here tomorrow. Anyone have any advice to make install go smooth...

Now begin the work less worried about messing something up and sober enough to do it calmly .   If your taking the pipes off you may want to consider putting on new exhaust gaskets to be sure you dont end up with any exhaust leaks after you put everything back together.  Should they be ok yeah probably, but I usually don't take that chance over the 10-15 bucks it isnt worth it to me.

Will do Harry. Hopefully only have to remove rear pipe to install o2 sensor. My wife doesn't understand why iam doing all this stuff to my bike. I told her it was a testorone thing that we men have....LOL. She just shakes her head at me.....

Did you find the bolt at the auto parts store?   I recommend a beer or two for you soon I mean very soon ....  Shouldn't let this frustrate you so badly it isnt worth that.

Your going to find it easier than you thought after its all said and done you just had a rough start with the SERT and a dealer who was unresponsive and lazy.

Nope cant find a freaking bolt on a Saturday around here. Will have to wait untill Monday to get one. I think it will work the way it is but iam not taking any chances, the o2 sensor hits top of tranny cover.

Bolt for what?  If you're looking for a bolt to screw in to the o2 sensor bung try a spark plug.  The larger type plug is the same size and thread.

I did the spark plug thing to a car I took to Germany in 1986 as well as removing the Catalytic converter.   I think I used a lawnmower spark plug.

Yep a lawn mower spark plug should work. Now if you want to be different for the weekend get an old 6 volt coil and wire it to a switch and to the battery. Next run a plug wire from the coil to the plug. On decell hit the switch and see if you can get a bang out of that bike. It may not work too well with a fuelie though.

Or, if they are gonna be on for good, take off the front pipe enough for the senso to go on, then re-install.  Will be close, but the metal shroud on the sensor can touch, it won't interfere with the sensor or anything.  It's the first few turns of the thread that you got to get right, then tighten it up, it will fit fine.

ON the other hand, I have no idea what pipes you are are running, so if it ain't RHDT, forgetaboutit.

Rhino it aint RHTD so forget about it ....    Its the VH rear pipe that is causing the problem.   The sensor goes in but it rides ever so slightly on the top of the transmission case due to the length of the sensor and its sheathing.   

Hence the reason to put a bolt in it and give it an attitude adjustment

Well got everyting installed & running finally. Took a short ride today & there was a more noticeable throttle response over the stock one. Also noticed on startup & takes a bit longer to start than stock form. Will try & put more miles on it tomorrow. Time will tell it if was worth it or not...
