What kind of mileage are you getting on your SEVROD. :nixweiss:
-
Crappy fuel mileage. How about you? LOL
-
My mileage varies based upon my riding area...I normally just plan to stop in the 90 mile range of a tank to be safe! When I ride this bike I tend to ride it HARD! Started to replace the tank but decided not to in an effort to force me to get off the bike!
What a fun bike!

If it's that bad, just sell it to me, Dave. :nixweiss: :2vrolijk_21: :huepfenlol2:

Did a 60 mile ride yesterday. Stop and fueled up when I got back. 2 gal even. 30 mpg and I pounded on it a few times. ;)

If you are seeking longer distances on your ride you can always change out your fuel cell...
-
Here is one that you can get with a discount for $499...Zeel Design (Rick's Tank) 5 liters bigger

Thx Jock I'm aware of the larger fuel cell, just trying to compare fuel mileage. Ass is too old to try and iron ass it on a vrod. :D
-
In that case...I am in the 30 mpg range too! Can be much less at times when I really ride it hard...
-
30 mph is all I can get too, 5 gallon tank would help but still 30 mpg is 30 mpg.
-
average around 32 mpg.on ours..
-
First of all, the bike runs great and it is tuned for all-out ride-ability. No decel popping. No stumble in the 2500-3500 rpm range. Bike just runs hard and responds immediately when you ask it to. 30 to 32 mpg is about all you can expect in normal riding with this bike. If you take it really easy (what's the point), you can squeeze 35 mpg out of it. I agree with Jock, plan on 90 miles per tank and enjoy the crap out of the ride! Serious fun machine!
