Anyone have any suggestions on a good double stick tape to mount the tour pack lid organizer. Thanks

You might try the large velcro patches (I got mine at Wal Mart or Home Depot). Wash the inside lid area, where the velcro is to be attached, with alcohol first.
If you have a luggage rack attached, bolt right through the lid organizer......works great. Be sure to use a tiny bit of silicone sealant around each hole, to make it water tight.

The best two sided tape available is the 3M Body Side Moulding tape used on car/truck mldgs. All body shops buy it by the roll, comes in different widths. Stop by any good collision repair center. they will probably give you a couple of feet of the 3/4" free. Or you can buy a roll at a auto paint supply store. It works for a lot of other stuff as well.

I agree with JC use the luggage rack bolts with large fender washers. If you have a tour pak spoiler you will have too make cut outs for these bolts or the backend of the organizer will not lay flat.

Hi Roadrunner,
We spoke on Yahoo.
I saw the tip on using large washers on tour pack rack to secure organiser. I have used it for 12 months & it is fine.
This is bothering me for 2005 as this comes with Tour Pak light. I have read that light doesn't fit with organiser.
I suspect that I will replace "pizza box" with full size Tour Pak & forget the light.
Regards
Tony

Hey,
I ordered the light for the tour pack, I had the battery light on my Roadking tour pack, and it didnt work at all. Thanks for the info

I have the 04 SEEG, chopped tour pack, organizer and the light that uses the bike battery, no problems so far (10K). My organizer is held in place by the bolts that hold the luggage rack.

Which luggage rack (part number if you've got it) did you use on the chopped pak's lid?
Thanks.
