John Sachs did a build for me more last year.  Did the heads and used the 24d cam.  This bike runs great all the time.   Pm john for all the benefits.   Very smooth also. And I have a great power.  Stuart  :2vrolijk_21:

Either works with stock heads both get better when the compression and ports are optimized but the 24D is my choice because these is almost no give away down low and a lot more on top.

I was having a hard time deciding on a cam for my cvo, I talked to Don at hd street performance and he suggested the 24D. went to kuryakyn's web site and saw that they are phasing out the 24D so I ordered the 25D. kuryakyn called me to confirm the shipping address and I asked to speak to the tech guy. the tech guy basically said the 24D is a better cam and that they didn't have enough testing with the 25D. so I had them switch me to the 24D. planning a winter build to a 113. im having hd street performance do all my machine work.

Yes, stock heads. Did cams, lifters, and tune at C&S Speed Shop in metro East St. Louis. Jason is the owner, he does a great job and is a fabulous tuner. Jason did say the more compression and flow you give this cam the better it performs, so it's definitely a building block for future upgrades. With stock heads it performs very well.

I'm wanting to build a reliable 110 motor.  I will be using S&S std Lifters and Adjustable pushrods, AV&V Valve Springs and Guides, also new seals, and Torrington cam bearings.  What do you motor guy's think about this build?   What's the best cam for a stock compression 110 heads?  Suggestions if these components will work well together.....  Are there anything else i'm missing that would help?   I will prb use Vance and Hines Power Duals with monster rounds.

Would this be a good cam?
