Seinfeld thread, redux
« on: February 05, 2007, 12:36:41 AM »

This is a thread about nothing.  Just making a workspace to see what new things might be in the new software or how things work differently.  Like trying to find where to attach a picture.....

The internal spell checker is handy though.  Though the delay of waiting for it probably still isn't worth the trouble.  Hell, it's a playground.  I can live with a few typos.

Well nuts, the tabular functions might come in handy sometime.  Having img and url controls under a button will save a few keystrokes.  Email and other insertions might even come in handy.

I think this might even be cool if it doesn't get overused.

But I still can't find where to attach images.....    :nixweiss:

Neal (if you see this), the font size and font face options currently default, no alternative options.  The font size option can be selected and you can manually type in a new number to replace the 10 pt default in the left operand and it works ok.  But no option seems to be given on those two.

wonder what the teletype text looks like?

and the shadow function?

is glowing different than highlighting was?

Code: [Select]
and insert what kind of code?

  • Abuse should not be reported
  • It should be graded for quality and style

Ok, the new little list tool might be handy at times too.  Bullet points!

Still can't attach images though.

The show unread posts option now up at

the top of the main page is sweet!

That's a function lost with the last upgrade

and very much appreciated in return.  Hell, I'd trade

103's bike to have that time saving little function back on board.

Since this thread is titled Sienfeld thread  I gotta be the first to say this about those palm watchamacallits

to quote Elaine from my all time favorite Seinfeld episode

" I don't know how you guys walk around with those things "

Uhhh, Spidey..., we both know that Elaine wasn't talking about Palms but not that I think about it, there have been some cold, lonely nights that "palms" may still be an appropriate metaphor (or is it a simile?  I can't keep those straight)
