Bad Rear Wheel on FLHTCUSE3

well, brand new bike has been in the shop since 4/24, resolving slow leak in rear tire.
after new tire installed, still leaked.
determined need new chrome 9 spoke rear wheel rim.
covered under standard factory 2 year warranty.
waiting for delivery.
may be ready late next week.  :nixweiss:
only 450 miles, 150 of which is back and forth to service dept at dealer (sticky throttle, now this).
almost forgot i had a bike.  :'(

OK, final result.

dropped of bike for leak in rear tire, 4/24/08;
got bike back, 5/7/08;

took a couple days to find leak, couple more fighting for warranty, couple more to get a new wheel, couple more to make sure new wheel ok;

LEAKY SPOKE;

that's what they told me;

apparently, 1 of 9 cast aluminum chrome spokes was porous enough to leak 2# of air a day thru the HUB;

told wheel made in austrailia;

cost me nothing but lost saddletime;
