Here's a couple pictures of the gauge mount. Where it attaches is at angle so the gauges face you. With pullback risers the face of the gauges will be looking more towards the tank. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Bars with increased pullback instead  :nixweiss:  Bike looks great JW  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks Howie. It sucks being built like the Tazmanian Devil, short arms & legs w/ big torso.  ;D I'm looking at bars as a solution also. Of course I've been doing that for the SERK for going on two years.  :nixweiss:

I wasn't being a wise ass, really I wasn't. Just wondered if there were a set of bars available that would allow you to keep the riser you have?

I now all about the handlebar trek. Spent the last two years looking for a set for the SERK to no avail now I can start over with the SERG  :huepfenlol2:

Never took it as you being a wise ass brother!

I went with these bars as I already owned em and liked em. But I'll figure something out.

Now I've heard it can get irritating trying to find the right set of handlebars but I never considered just trading in the entire bike for another one!  :o :o :o

if you go with pullback risers, you can "adjust" the angle of the guage bracket.

I was just thinking about using beveled spacers to do just that. Is this what you were thinking?

i was thinking changing the angle of the existing bend on the bracket. put it in a vise and heat it up a bit, then gently bend till its at the angle you want

Got the gang together and went to my son's house to present him with the ol girl. We woke him up (3rd shift deputy) to see his sister up from Ft. Hood, Texas. He was expecting her to show up in her truck but instead pulled in on Eve.

This is his shocked look. We are not an overly expressive family.
