Sony radio with Sirius module. HELP

Has anyone had any trouble with the sony head units with the sirius module.  Mine turns off at random and has a bad time keeping signal, if it works at all. 

 My original one worked perfectly, but was replaced after the accident last year.  I bought the new sony with IPOD control and sirius ready.  But a refurbed sirius module.  I'm thinking that the sirius part is screwed.  anyone with advise or whatever.  Thanks.

I put the Sony with XM/Serius in the FLHX a few months back and no problems. WHere did you mount the puc? Did you  pop the fairing and check all connections, puc location, etc?
