From the HD Website

Color-Matched Vented Fairing Lower Kit
58854-10DEK
Spiced Rum
MSRP US $824.95

Is that a solid color (spiced rum) or is there any striping or other color on them.  It would be cool if there was some gold leaf to match, wouldn't it?  :)  spyder

It's probably solid color ... it would be too cool if it had the gold leaf, but would probably be more expensive then the others too then.

You have to buy the Electra Glide crash bar (they don't fit on the mustache bar).  You'll also might want to consider the quick release hardware if you plan to take them off in the summer.

Looks like we were posting at the same time.

I've rode with leg fairings (without ever removing them, not even in 110F weather) for the past ten or twelve years.  I forgot what it was like to ride without them till I got the SESG.  Huge difference. :2vrolijk_21:

Meaning you like them all the time or you like the SESG without them.  I am assuming you like them, but I am just curious as I see myself loving them year-round as I have never had them before.

Well, when I had Jim order all my parts, I also had him order the quick release brackets (just in case I need to remove them due to the heat issue of the 110) however, riding without the leg fairings on my trip south west trip....I couldn't wait to get them and get em on the bike.  They'll be coming off only as a last resort due to heat issues.

That is exactly what i thought.  I anticipate leaving them on all the time.  I like the way they look also.

That depends on where you're getting the parts from.

Taking mine off will depend on the heat this summer. If it's not to bad during the first hot week, Ill then have them painted to match with one small piece of gold flake if I can get my painter to work with me. If it to hot Ill just use them in the winter and paint whenever I get some extra $$$ that I dont neeed to spend on anything else, Like a tourpak ;D

I've never taken them off my SEEG either. Rode a friends SG and it felt really different not having them there. Once you get used to them (at least in my case) they don't bother you. :nixweiss:

What is that?  I hear people from time to time refer to "extra money" but I've never seen that before......don't even know what it looks like.  What is it?   If it's extra, can you send some my way? :nixweiss:
