Well guys, 82 degrees is a beautiful thing when the reast of the country is freezing (except my neighbors in AZ). Santa Ana conditions (that means wind in from the desert for all you arctic dwellers out there) and beautiful clear skies. BUT remember......we pay for this weather......at $700K for a median priced house and $2.75/gal gas and 8% state income tax etc..etc..etc... It better be FREAKIN warm this time of year.......

Yeah, it's nice riding weather right now but, I've been so busy with work I haven't riden in three weeks!!

Everyday, I say I'm gonna take an evening cruise but..............something comes up with work, kids activities........
It's in the 80s today in So Cal and I want cruise by the beach that's only 10 minutes away..........I think I'm ditchin' work this afternoon. Thanks guys for reminding me of my priorities!

There were two different chicks washing trucks in Bikini's on my street alone today when we got back from the mountains...........So. Cal ROCKS!!!!

I've got some pics of Spidey ridin by the coast today, but he won't like it too much if I post em.......Big bad "Artic Dweller from the past"....he he!!!!!! It was 80 freakin degrees and take a look!!!!

When he first moved here, the man didn't own a jacket.....No Sh$t....riding around in 50 degree weather in a T-Shirt (at 100+MPH).......now it's 80 degrees and take a look.........

BTW, We had a beer for all you snowed in Bro's and thought about you at least for a minute.........

We are actually supposed to get cold weather and rain on Saturday, but since it IS So-Cal, it should only last a day.

I plan on taking the new Ultra on a nice trip to Laughlin and back Sunday Monday since its a holiday weekend!

I just got 3/4 helmets (I usually ride with 1/2 lids) and installed the mic and speakers. The GF is all happy that we can chit chat while going 85 and asked what I would do if she was talking my ears off. I told her I know where the 'off' button to the intercom is!

Was upper 70's here today, Spiderman took me out to Palm Springs to get my fancy smancy new bike lift (Birthday to me.....Birthday to me....), Mrs. Beagle, my brother-in-law and mom all chipped in to get me this thing (tryin to save my back a little........another story).....and Spidey took me all the way out there to get it.......(I guess I really am loved by those around me).

That's my point......you gotta look around you every now and then and really appreciate everything you have (and I'm not just talking about toys and parts).........

Lifes a journey.....Not a destination!!!!!!

Glad you got in the wind today.......I hope tomorrow's even better.

I work on a lot of bikes around here, and most of them are not mine, I've got one of those pump lifts, but I bought mine in Laughlin 10 years ago.......this thing is a tank, like 80 lbs (it's sitting behind my toolbox, and everytime I have to take it out, it's a real chore, and even then, your on your hands and knee's anyway....what's the point). Since I bought it, I've destroted a couple of disks in my lower back (probably from lifting engine blocks around the garage......anyway....pains gettin real bad these days, and I'm gettin old....at least feelin that way.....save you backs guys...once they're messed up......you don't go back. No punn intended). I have to credit the lift idea to Spiderman, and execution results to my bro-in-law (he's the one who offered up half). Mrs. Beagle know's how much I like tinkering so she and moms, put up the rest.....anyway.......proud as a Cheshire cat!!!

Fired00d, I did actually ride today and it was great, first real miles on the new bike. Heated seat came in very handy.

I hate to brag.......Feb 14 was steak and nobber day, March 20th will be steak and nobber day.......
Eat your freakin hearts out (and I don't feel soory for any ONE of you........), It took me 20 freakin years to find this one (first one by the way..........went through a lot of em too).......Mrs. Beagle is a keeper.......
BTW, lift is fine, broke the freakin tool box tonight (tryin to get her off the lift....hit her head on the door opener, bottle of Moet' (don't worry Spidey, still savin the bottle of Dom you gave me for the silver)......gotta put a brass pole in the garage over the lift (Mrs. Beagle's request.....) If anyone has done this before, PLEASE SEND PICS...... I think I can do it on my own.......pictures are better. Where in the hell do you get a brass pole anyway?

I got it from Western Manufacturing (Palm Springs)....looks to be pretty close to the Handy SAM lift. Spiderman has the BOB lift (definately a little stouter.....but this ones fine for what I need to do). This guy used to work for Handy (they all probably come from the same place anyway).

I already though about that.....rode with a club here in Dago for years, and know what a brass pole does for even the "nicest" girls......just struck me as funny to see my Mrs._Beagle up there, where her sister used to be (she <sister> was a "dancer", and crazy as a sh$t house rat.....{dated her for a while too.....((I'm talkin nuckin futz))I used to get around a little too......in my younger days}. But the pole thing, in my opinion is a good thing. She requested it....if the local females want to use it....OK, I'll rent it out by the hour.....retirement money........Whadda think?

Hate to brag but... its late February and I got in over 400 miles of riding in awsome weather this weekend! Saturday headed down to San Diego, spent the first half of Sunday hitting the indian casinos and eating. Then had a ride in perfect upper 70s weather for the ride home. Got all the riding done in time because tomorrow... rain!
