Race tuner

Will a race tuner part#32107-01C work on 06 88 models. It is an older version but it should work other than the fact that it has no 06 maps. but

I believe your correct but if you need the 32107-01D EFI RACE TUNER KIT I have one New in the Box Never installed. I got it for Christmas and was waiting on the cams from Zippers. After talking with them I may go with the thundermax and D&D Fatcats with big bore baffles and Falsie.

Bryan,

I do not think that C will work, nor do I think that D as it comes in the box will work.

I have version D at the house unfortunately the software that came with MY version D was 4.10 and it has no 2006 maps on it.   You could buy the C then pay the 20 bucks to get the latest version of software that will have the 2006 models in it.   The latest version is E of the tuner and I believe its version G of the software or version 4.5.2.

Jr.

The newest version is only out in very limited quantities most dealers have it on back order.  I was told chicago harley got 17 and one other got 12 of them.   E is the latest that I am sure of.

Even if you haven't opened your package unless someone will burn a copy for you or the dealer is willing to it will cost you 20 bucks to go from the version you have to the latest.   They should put up an FTP that allows you to keep up with it.

I heard there were more maps in E and a few small fixes.   I believe the fixes are attributed to the 25 degree injectors vs. 8 degree injectors that are on the service bulletins for hard starts etc.   This was just what I was told I am yet to get my hands on the latest software to see for myself.  The reasoning for a new version is understandable, but you would have to compare your File Calibration vs. the newest one to really see what the differences are.

If you purchased in mid February, don't they give an automatic upgrade?

magicl1,

Sure would be worth a phone call, but I'm guessing the answer is no.  After all, this is the MoCo we're talking about.  They've never seen a greenback they wouldn't love to liberate from your pocket, by hook or crook.  BTW - when you want updated "canned" maps for a PC, you just go to the website and download what you need free of charge (other updates like the rev limiter are not free).  Has anyone found the free H-D site for the SERT maps????  I'm sure it must be out there somewhere  [smiley=confused5.gif].

I would expect the G release of Software to have some more info in it and more maps.   I believe though that G is released in the E version of the RaceTuner Kit. 32107-01E I believe is the part number for getting the G release of the software.  However if you already have a D sounds like you may have to pony up the 20 bucks to get the G.   What I would do if I were you is check some dealers around and see if any have the G version yet and if they do try and get a peak at the calibration file to tell if any new maps showed up etc.

I wouldnt count on on getting H or I.   Seems that the race tuner for the E version on the outside fo the box is on national back order.   Might be better to buy one then pony up the 20 bucks for the latest version.
